Celebration of World Rabies Day 2026 under the theme "Stronger Together" . The programme was organized by the National Rabies Control Program (NRCP), O/o the District Medical and Health Officer in collaboration with the State NRCP Cell, O/o the District Veterinary Officer, Shillong Municipal Board, Human United for Animal and Nature (HUFAN) and NSS Shillong College Unit, Swasth Bharat (Health Care) Cell and IQAC, Shillong College. The celebration was highly informative and sensitized students about rabies prevention, responsible pet ownership, pet registration and the importance of One Health approach to achieve zero human deaths from rabies. .
