SC/ST

The ST/SC Committee was constituted on 6^th October, 2025. The Committee was formed as per the statutory requirements of AICTE and UGC. The committee works to safeguard the rights, welfare, and development of the Scheduled Tribe (ST) and the Scheduled Caste (SC) students and employees of the institution. Its main goal is to promote social justice, equal opportunity and inclusive growth within the institution.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Equality and Social Justice:
2. Promote equal opportunities in education for ST/SC students.
3. Ensure fair treatment of all students and staff.
4. Uphold constitutional provisions related to reservation and protection.
5. Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment.
6. Sensitize and counsel stakeholders to maintain equality and harmony.
7. Scholarship & Government Scheme Support:
8. Ensure eligible students receive scholarships and benefits from State and Central Government schemes.
9. Collect and circulate official notifications, reports, and orders related to education and employment opportunities for ST/SC students.
10. Communicate important updates regarding government decisions and welfare schemes.
11. Academic Support & Counselling:
12. Organize remedial classes, extra coaching, and academic support programs to students.
13. Provide opportunities and guidance to enhance career growth.
14. Conducting of regular interactive sessions.
15. Guidance to students in managing academic, personal, and social challenges.
16. Provide immediate counselling support during emotional emergencies or difficult situations on campus.
17. Grievance Redressal:
18. Establish a proper mechanism for addressing grievances of ST/SC students.
19. Promptly resolve complaints related to discrimination or unfair treatment.
20. Ensure transparency and fairness in handling all concerns.
21. Awareness of Constitutional Rights:
22. Educate and encourage students about the rights and protections provided under the Constitution of India.
23. Empower students with knowledge about legal safeguards and social justice measures.
