The IGNITE Club (Inspiring Growth, Nurturing Infinite Teaching Excellence) is a dynamic platform dedicated to nurturing intellectual growth, creativity, and social responsibility among students. Guided by its motto, “Igniting Minds, Shaping Futures” – the club aims to create a vibrant learning environment that extends beyond the classroom. It encourages students to explore diverse fields, develop essential life skills, and actively contribute to society. Through a wide range of academic, cultural, and community-oriented initiatives, the club strives to empower students to become well-rounded individuals equipped to face the challenges of the modern world.
Constitution:
Aim: To ignite immortal knowledge, fostering all-round development and positive impact.
Objectives: Organize Workshops/Seminars on education, research, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), career development, and allied fields.
- Conduct debates, quizzes, and innovation competitions.
- Partner with local schools for leaching volunteering and mentoring programs.
- Organize cleanliness drives, recycling initiatives, and environmental programs.
- Launch awareness campaigns on SDGs, mental health, job opportunities, and
- associated topics.
- Conduct blood donation camps, life skills, yoga, and vocational training
- workshops.
- Develop and maintain an annual academic and activity calendar to ensure
- systematic planning, coordination, and execution of club initiatives.
Membership:
- Student Members: All current Education Department students.
- All Teaching Faculty from Education Department
- Associate Members: DHTE Officers, NEHU Professors (School of Education), Pass Pupils, and Education Professionals.
Membership Fee (Entirely Voluntary)
- For Students: Rs 50 per annum (optional)
- For Teaching Faculty of Education Department: Rs 50 (optional)
- For Associate Members: Rs 50 per annum (optional)

- Service Charges: Nominal fees for workshops/Competitions (Rs. 20-50)
- Raffles & Contests: Ticket sales during college events
- Annual calendar sale
- Amendments:
Any proposed changes to this constitution must be approved by two-thirds (2/3)
majority vote of the General Body during a regular meeting with prior notice.
