ENDOWMENT/ PRIZES/ AWARDS/SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
Introduction
❖ In an attempt at motivating meritorious students and in recognition of excellence in academics,
❖ Shillong College has instituted several Cash Prizes, Awards and scholarships named after luminaries of the college.
❖ While it provides moral boost to the achievers for their passionate perseverance, the dedicated services of the stalwarts are best remembered through this practice
❖ The Committee for recommending Prizes/Awards/Scholarship to meritorious students and achievers in co-curricular activities was constituted on the 27th Of March, 2014 with Smt. V.R. Solomon as its first convener.
